Project Alert: America’s Law Enforcement Retiree Team

What is Project Alert?

The Project ALERT Program is a resource implemented and successfully administered by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ® (NCMEC) at no cost to law enforcement agencies across the nation for more than 10 years.

All costs associated with travel and resource materials are coordinated and paid for by NCMEC. The program provides skilled, retired, law-enforcement officers who donate their time, when requested by agencies, to assist as consultants with missing and exploited child cases.

For more information call: NCMEC’s 24-hour, toll free Hotline at 1-800-THE-LOST® (1-800-843-5678)

Or Contact the Project ALERT Program, NCMEC Charles B. Wang, www.missingkids.com © 2003 National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

The Project Alert roll-call training video is endorsed by the California Commission of Peace Officer Standards & Training as well as 16 major, nationally recognized law-enforcement associations.
