“The Big Draw” Educational Event was held this year at the New Zoo in Suamico

The New Zoo EventThe Missing Persons Network of Wisconsin teamed up with the New Zoo on August 9, 2008 for its biggest Big Draw ever.

Over 1,200 educational books about family safety were distributed by volunteers.  Thousands of children and their families were provided stickers and other information on Safety declaring the day “Wild About Safety!”

Zoo attendance was high as the weather was perfect for our Safety Day at the Zoo. Celebrating Safety with the theme “Wild About Safety” over 1,200 Educational Safety pamphlets were distributed to children and families at the zoo.

Volunteers were on hand to pass out large “Wild About Safety” stickers, games and events were on hand for the children, chalk drawing prizes were distributed as well.
